Learning To Develop Your Psychic Powers

My first introduction into a world beyond ours was through an out-of-the-body (OBE) experience when I nearly drowned at the age of seven. The years that followed were filled with nightly astral travel, the perception of the golden glow surrounding everyone’s body and knowing things before they happened.

Of course, I didn’t realize that not everyone had the same experiences. I can remember sitting in a classroom that had huge windows along one wall, and being bored with the subject being taught (likely math), I decided to float out the window. It was a sunny but cool Fall day and the leaves of the poplar trees in the schoolyard were showing off their silvery colour.

Busy life as a teenager, entering the work force, eventual marriage and having children, pushed aside most of the experiences, but not the memories. A local college offered a course in Psychic Phenomena, and I was signed up immediately. What a surprise to learn I was a psychic. A bigger surprise was to realize that we all are. The only difference between being a psychic or not, is in the exploration of possible skills and learning how to recognize and develop them.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a psychic teacher locally who can help you discover your hidden talents and teach you the ways in which to develop the skills which can ultimately change your life and your thinking. I was most fortunate to have a teacher with whom I studied for eight years. As my reputation had grown during those years, I was asked to teach a course at the same college where I had been a student.

From the first series of classes, I formed a core group with whom I pursued studies outside the school environment. How lucky we all were to be able to grow and learn together. For most people, this is something they might wish for but cannot attain. I was one of the fortunate ones.

Ruth Rogers. I have been using my psychic skills in my personal life for more than thirty-five years. If you think you have untapped psychic abilities and would like to pursue this possibility, you will find additional information here, including a Psychic Potential

Wisdom in Science and Religion

Through dream decoding, a person can discover the infinite symbolic world that gives us information about our daily life, our psychic sphere, the past, the present and the future. This is a source we never imagined we could find-messages that are key to eternal wisdom and psychic health contained in our daily dreams!

The more you learn about dream decoding, the more you will see how important the dreams’ messages are, and as soon as you understand how to interpret them, you’ll discover a world that is much more fascinating and powerful than the Internet.

The psychotherapy carried out through dream interpretation is a real miracle! And it has really a holy character, which leads us to the conclusion that the unconscious, the organ that produces dreams in our psychic sphere, is directed by God, Who really exists and is as saintly as is described by all religions of our world.

All religions were certainly created by the same God in order to teach us several sides of reality we ignore and several attitudes we must have. The Chinese Tao and its complexity offer us a very good example of how extraordinary religion’s realm is and how much it can help the human being achieve.

All the religions teach us that we must eliminate our ego and help others. The unconscious that produces the dreams tells us exactly the same thing because craziness comes from selfishness. If we try to fulfil our ego’s desires, we will very easily get lost in the labyrinth of craziness because the ego is connected with the wild side of our conscience, which is evil and violent. So, the human being has both God and Satan living within his psychic sphere!

The battle between these opposite sides is taking place all the time in our psychic sphere. This means that the religious content and the psychological reality are the same. Psychic health is equal goodness and equilibrium through sensitivity, while craziness means absurd evil and violence.

The most important dream symbols according to the psychiatrist and psychologist Carl Jung are the archetypes. These symbols are found in all the dreams and all the artistic and religious manifestations of humanity in all historical times and all the civilizations that ever existed. They reflect the wisdom of the unconscious, which orients us through these images.

When, for example, we see a snake in a dream, it means “the bad event that will cure the psychic sphere.” The snake is one of the most important dream symbols and it has many meanings besides the one already described, but most of them are associated with different cultures. Its general meaning is that a bad event will result in something good for the dreamer. It’s like surgery; a painful operation that has to be done in order to save the hero’s life.

For instance, the snake’s meaning in Christianity is quite similar, since it induced Eve to eat the apple with the forbidden knowledge, because this knowledge caused the human being to suffer. After learning what was evil, humans started to have an evil interpretation of reality that made them see bad meanings everywhere. Evil doesn’t exist on reality, but only inside the human being, that distorts the perception of reality with the harmful interpretation.

This notion didn’t help the human being at all because he started having many problems after his different conception of reality. However, this fact saved him from ignorance. He needed to learn what was evil, so that he could see how much of it exists in his own psychic sphere. As a matter of fact, if the human being was not evil, he would never agree to disobey God’s will, since God is saintly and wise. Evil already existed within Eve; otherwise, she would never have known to disobey God.

Nevertheless, she had to learn what evil was so that she would be able to recognize her own evil and work hard in order to eliminate it. Her sin in eating the apple was something very bad that could have good results only in the future, after God’s punishment.

A snake in your dream means that something as terrible is going to happen, similar to what happened with the disobedient sinners who dared to try and become as wise as their God by eating the fruit with the prohibited knowledge. But in the end, this terrible event will teach you how you can acquire real wisdom, which cannot be acquired overnight as you had imagined!

Beating Depression and Craziness

The Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew, the hottest dancing competition in US, has declared its winner. Among the 12 competing crews, the JabbaWockeez crew emerged as the victorious group as they crushed Status Quo with their remarkable performance on the finale. The JabbaWockeeZ’s members were Jeff Nguyen aka “Phi”, 26, from Phoenix AZ; Ryan Shawn Paguio, 26, from San Diego, CA; Ben Chung aka B-Tek, 26, from Mission Hills, CA; Kevin Brewer, 31, from Sacrament, CA; Phil Tayag, 23, also from Sacramento, CA; and Chris Gatdula, 26, from Las Vegas, NV.

The two groups fought their last battle onstage, but still, the JabbaWockeeZ seemed to steal the heart of Americans when millions of their votes declared the group as the ultimate champion. Status Quo’s members who are Joshua Green, 20; Ernest Phillips, 21, Jayjion Greer aka “Jin Lao”, 18; Jamal Weaver, 20; and Dwayne Hines, 18 (all from Boston, MA) did not lose in vain. They had served one of the best performances in the history of dance competitions in the US.

During episode 7, the three remaining crews which are the JabbaWockeez, Status Quo, and the Kaba Modern had competed and gave their best moves. Status Quo performed the first act. The judges were impressed by the group’s amazing stunts, but failed to make an impression with their lackluster choreography.

Episode 6 showed one of the most exhilarating performances on the show. The four remaining crews fought their way up from the dance floor and were required to perform hip hop dances with a mixture of Traditional Broadway acts. The most remarkable performance was done by Status Quo as they showed off their own version of “Hairspray.”

The competing crews performed Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in Episode 5. This was done in honor of the artist that has become legendary with his dancing prowess and also to celebrate his album’s twenty-fifth anniversary. “Thriller” sold over 45 million worldwide, and it is considered as one of the biggest selling albums of all time.

During Episode 4, the crews were made to dance while portraying their own characters based on movies. The audience and the judges were awed by the amazing performances they had witnessed.

During Episode 3, the crews were made to perform popular dances that possessed remarkable stunts.

The eight remaining crews, during Episode 2, were made to perform an act that is based on popular music video. They must have a unique interpretation that still jives with the video. The competition started with 12 groups (consisting of six members) showing off their hottest moves, they were: Full Out, The Movements, Automatic Response, Enigma Dance Crew, Femme 5, Iconic, Live in Color, Fysh n Chicks, BreakSk8, Kaba Modern, Status Quo, and the JabbaWockeeZ.

The show creator, Randy Jackson, has been in the music industry for more than twenty years. This music veteran and Grammy Award winning producer has started his career as a bass guitar player when he was just 13 years old. He got his big break when he joined the famous band Journey.

The first judge was JC Chavez who started his career as a member of a Mickey Mouse Club. He is also a former of a now disbanded NSync. Shayne Sparks, who is also a judge, is a professional dancer who was known for his jaw-dropping performance every time he was onstage. Lil’ Mama, another judge of this popular dance competition show, is an hip hop artist who got her big break when her Lip Gloss hit the radio waves in 2007.

The show was hosted by Mario Lopez, Layla Kaleigh, and DJ Rashida. MTV is giving opportunity to people to show off their grooviest moves and style. If you are interested to join, create a profile and start uploading your videos. Just go to http://dance.mtv.com/ for further details. You look across the restaurant, the corporate office or perhaps you just opened the latest magazine and you see what looks like the ‘perfect life’.

Suddenly you feel insecure, and perhaps, a little jealous and resentful.

Someone else appears to have the ideal relationship, plenty of money, and opportunity while you struggle to keep your head above water.

Be careful. Wanting something for your life is a very different vibration from feeling that life is unfair, and many people tend to confuse these two motivators.

Some people are motivated by the positive side of desire and ambition and even the pressure of life’s challenges. Others are overwhelmed and angered by the idea of change or reaching beyond what they feel is possible or probable for them.

Feelings of jealousy, resentment, even greed or hatred, are incredibly common in even the smallest, mundane situations. The thing is, that most people don’t recognize that they’re emoting this energy into their world. Neither do they realize what it attracts for them. They see something, they react and they rationalize their emotional reaction. Then they move on without realizing the impact they’ve just had on their world.

If you use TruAwareness, a process I developed that heightens your intuition, and gives you insight and clarity into what you’re feeling and why, then you have the perfect tool for deeper awareness as well as an easier path beyond limiting beliefs and emotions.

Feeling these limiting emotions doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a bad person. They are, however, a spiritual call for you to do 4 things:

Be Honest with Yourself About What You’re Feeling and Believing & Why - Don’t Rationalize or Intellectualize Your Emotions

Own Your Dreams - Accept Responsibility for What You Want in Life (even if you don’t know how you’ll get there)

Develop a Deeper Awareness of Who You Authentically Are and,

Develop a Clearer Awareness of How You’re Creating Your Current Life

Excerpt from All You’ve Ever Known, the Way In to Your Authentic Self Lies in Your Own Two Hands:

“Consciously Creating with TruAwareness

There is far more to consciously creating than just eliminating a derailed belief system. Finding and removing beliefs out of alignment with the truth will add rocket fuel to your conscious creative efforts. But we have to do more than that.

We are human beings, which means we are always “being” something. We have an intrinsic need to consciously identify with who we really are according to Universal truth. This means we must consciously choose what we want to experience all the time.” © 2007 *end of excerpt*

When you’re quietly motivated by envy, you can’t hear Divine Guidance accurately. Why? Because in the moment you feel jealous or envious, you abandon your true self. Your focus is no longer on you, your path or how to make your dreams come true. Instead, you leave yourself behind to chase something externally and quietly ruminate on your perceived inadequacies.

Connecting with desire is uplifting and creative. But jealousy is a vibe that diminishes your Self and will literally eat you alive. It keeps you from the things you want most in life.

How do you feel when you think about your goals and desires? Uplifted? Or diminished and afraid? How do you feel when presented with others’ success?

When you feel or emote, you’re broadcasting your thoughts and beliefs out into the Universe and they will return to you in the form of experience. Take time to look at the challenges in your life to become aware of how you’re reacting to them, particularly your quieter, more subtle reactions.

As an empath I assure you that most people, particularly smart, beautifully intelligent people with brilliant minds are totally unaware of many of their own thoughts, beliefs and emotions.

Because of the challenges you have in your life, you have to carve a few moments in your day to remind yourself what it is you really want in life.

There are many techniques for helping you with this. There are vision folders, affirmations, goal writing, success coaches, mastermind groups and many others. I like to use the powerful, psychic and magical moments just before falling asleep at night or in the morning before I’m fully awake.

I tune in and connect with the dreams of my soul, my life’s purpose, seeing them, with gratitude, as already done.

Because of the challenges you face in your life today, don’t disregard your deeper desires. They are a calling from your soul, your Authentic Self, that connects you to your life purpose - and all 3 of these things need be expressed.

Don’t get caught up in the idea that somehow sacrificing your dreams is a good idea. Honor your priorities in your life, but also make room for your dreams.

I read for a woman a few years ago who had achieved astounding success in almost every area of her life. When we sat down together, one of her primary questions was wanting to know why her mother had been angry all of her life. “Our relationship is complicated and sad,” she said. “She’s always seemed angry and unhappy and I can’t shake the guilt that it’s because of me, somehow.”

As I looked at the Mom’s energy, I saw a familiar scene. A woman who didn’t take responsibility for the choices she’d made or what she wanted in life and how to make it happen and so resented her children because of it.

One of the most amazing gifts you can give to your children is the example of honoring your priorities and your dreams. So they will one day find the freedom to do the same.

Don’t worry about the people you see who seem to have ‘easy’ success. As a psychic I can tell you that their lives are a lot more complicated than you realize. Not everyone chooses a life of equal challenge or difficulty, that’s true. But success is not indicative of an easier or more difficult life path. When you see success, learn from it however you can.

Owning your dreams and desires will connect you with authentic power and happiness, and you’ll connect with Divine Guidance about what your best next steps are for creating your ideal life. Not to mention it’s an instant cure for jealousy, and a path to inner peace.

The Rose As a Spiritual Symbol

Eric Pepin offers a free module from his teachings called “The Struggle to Awaken”. In this module he talks about how spiritual awakening and enlightenment are like a box.

“All the secrets of the Universe are in this box. Everything you have ever wanted to know. An Enlightened Master is telling you that they are in there. But there is on problem. The harder you try to open the box, the tighter it becomes. But there is a way to open the box”

The Universe cannot be forced to reveal its secrets. You cannot force your way into Enlightenment. It is only by making sure that everything is in the right place that you can coax the right circumstances for the box to open.

Eric then grabs a box down from his shelf that contains a flower. He shows it to the people in the room and asks about it.

Eric likens the flower to the box. “Have you ever tried to open a flower before its ready to open? You can pull it apart, but you will ruin the flower. What makes the flower open? Is it the rain, the sun? It opens when everything is perfect and there is an unseen harmony that calls to it.”

Your awakening as a spiritual being is no different. If you try to force it, you will experience much frustration and dead ends. You must learn to let the Universe unfold to you when it is ready to. Patience is a must.

This is where self work comes in. Being able to allow things to ‘be as they are’ without “wrestling the bull by the horns”. If you are impatient, full of pettiness or negativity, the conditions are not going to be right for the flower to begin to open. The flower does not open in the dead of Winter. It does not open when a tornado is blowing through. It pics the right day, when everything is just right. But in order to reach this right day, you must do the necessary steps in advance. You must have planted good soil, given adequate sunshine, given enough water, made sure animals didn’t eat it and so on. It also means you cannot go out and dig your flower up each day, wondering if its growing yet. You must trust the process. You must be patient. If you do the process, there must be a specific outcome. It is the law of cause and effect, of action and reaction.

The reason most people do not awaken is not because they don’t have enough information per se, its because they don’t do the right self work with the information they have. People think that enlightenment is just something that hits you without cause or because you meditate long enough. In truth, meditation is only a tool to help you with your self work. Nothing but ‘will and effort’ can move your tonal into the correct place where the Universe will respond to you. Always remember that.

Some people might indulge in a thought that, if one gets rid of all emotion, one will be unresponsive as a log, and we need to understand that, this is not true at all. All emotions, be it negative or positive is useful in its content. When our hearts are filled with love, compassion then our minds free, thus it is clear, that we feel empowered. People, who advance in understanding and wisdom of spirituality, will have more sensitivity and compassion towards other people’s content ness also confusion, on the other token, those who are distracted by life’s matter more than its share, will be unaware of the true joy one might obtain from spirituality.

Just as a tree would shed its dry leaf, some of us will shed our doubts about the nature of life and how magical and eternal we all are. If we imagine our hearts as a ship, then spirituality can be imagined as its paddles, always paddling to its sacred shores called “eternity”.
Spiritual expressions throughout our planet are very interesting indeed. There are some who go to churches some to mosques some to temples and some very interesting cultures will just dance around to please their spiritual masters. We need to understand that, regardless of spiritual master one might try to please by being a good disciple, at the end there is no right or wrong master, rather the same. If we were to open our minds to perfection that is around us all, then we can agree that confusion resulting in suffering is not a perfect subject. And the spiritual power that controls the universe would not want us to suffer. After all there is no room for suffering in perfection.

Therefore, it is universal compassion that is within us all must be reflected out. Thus, whoever can see the light that is shining in the heart that loves and compassionate, can be lit, by passion! Passionate emotions can be left for future generation. If we were to cut a tree, this will affect all living beings on earth, if we were to make a thin paper and write wise words and knowledge from this tree, then this can help the distracted or the seeker. Although we could go one step further, by planting two or more trees. Thus our planet could breathe easier. Spiritual tree of life works in this manner, one compassionate act received, if in turn returned by two fold, will create better understand and living for all.

We can channel spiritual emotions into a dialogue that is universal, which complements oneness.
We can distinguish spiritual understanding from distractions, spiritual understanding refers to a deep sense fulfillment, accompanied by sense of peace and calmness, as the saying goes “only the calm waters will reflect the stars” when we advance on spiritual perfection of wisdom, (which is never ending) we can surely calm our hearts. This will yield fruits of trust and respect for all in the tree of life. And every human will agree that from trust, comes more fruitful relations.

Some might focus on differences of belief and spirituality, although if we spend more time on the similarities, then we will realize we are same fruits of tree of life. We sail in life, under standing universe, in this beautiful journey called life. If one rain drop was filled with meaning of love, and if we were to ask how much love was hidden in our hearts, then believe me I would say, it can rain rather pour, till eternity. So when we use the power of our hearts as a ship and spirituality as its movement towards love and compassion. Then this is, its sacred shores called “perfection of wisdom”.

In this article we are going to talk about how to become a psychic medium. There are few skills in the paranormal realm which are MORE practical, exciting or life changing than the skill to be able to connect with the other side. Mediumship is a very controversial area of both science and spirit alike, but there is a LONG and storied history of gifted mediums who have defied ALL scientific explanation for centuries.

While there are undoubtedly many frauds out there, the “real” mediums have performed feats that defy ANY real doubt that what they are doing is genuine. Here are a few simple tips to get YOU started on the path to psychical mediumship, and connecting with the great mystery that binds us all..:-) Read on..:-)

Trust Your Gut

One of the most important facets of becoming a medium is the ability to go with your gut. You have to trust the information you are getting, and simply have faith in what you see, hear and feel. Being wishy washy is NOT a blueprint for getting good!

Don’t Fear Being Wrong

If you are wrong, that does NOT mean you are fake, a fraud, or a bad medium. There are LOTS of factors that go into reading what you see properly, including symbology, interpretation and good old fashioned cognitive psychology..:-) Mediumship is NOT a perfect science - and you are NOT a perfect person. Be genuine and truthful, and the rest will follow suit.

Don’t be a Know it All

There is nothing worse than seeing a medium who has a unique insight into ALL of the worlds problems and great mysteries. Simply having a window into the waiting world does NOT mean that you have ALL of the answers, nor that the information that you are getting is going to solve ALL of the mysteries of life! The very BEST mediums are those who appreciate their gift, understand the messages they receive, but are SMART and humble enough to know it’s exactly that. Information - NOT universal truth!

And of course there is SO much more….More that lies possible in YOUR life if you only open yourself up to the possibilities. Simply START by opening your mind, spirit & enhanced AWARENESS and ride the supernatural surfboard into the wild, wacky and wonderful world of the unknown..:-) It WILL rock Your WORLD…I promise..;-)

In the world of paranormal phenomena, there may be no bigger area of controversy than psychic mediums, or people who claim to be able to “channel” discarnate energies from the great beyond. On the surface, no matter what your religious, spiritual or scientific bias may be, it does seem to be a bit of a stretch to believe. But when you pull back the veil a bit, and really study some of the phenomenal results that many gifted psychic mediums appear to achieve, many people begin to find their skepticism melting away. Read on as we take a closer look!

The history and halls of parapsychology and psychical research are filled with quacks, crooks and charlatans of one stripe or another, who have consistently claimed to be in contact with the spirits of the dead. There have been hundreds of mediums who have been studies closely by scientific scrutiny, and it should be no surprise that few of them passed the muster of close inspection. But there have been more than a few who have, and in the famous words of William James, the great intellectual powerhouse of the 19th century, “only one white crow is necessary to disprove the notion that all crows are black”. In other words, to prove that a medium can indeed contact the dead, you only need ONE authentic actor in the bunch. Interestingly enough, James and his fellow intellectual cohorts did believe they found their white crow in the person of one Lenora Piper, an internationally famous trance medium at the end of the 19th century.

Even whilst skeptics and cynics scoff at the likes of the John Edward, Bill Anderson, and the variety of television mediums who entertain daily across the globe, serious scientists like Gary Schwartz at the University of Arizona, the late Ian Stevenson and MANY other researchers with impeccable credentials have lent their mental muscle to this fascinating combination of science and spirit, and with some pretty incredible results and conclusions! Regardless of where you fall on the totem pole of belief, this is incredibly powerful stuff, and the implications for all of us, nothing short of transformational…especially for those willing to suspend disbelief and explore the possibilities with eagle eyes and an open mind. But don’t take my word for it, go out and decide for yourself. You might be surprised at where it leads you!

You don’t “know” you are psychic - you feel it. For instance, you won’t know someone else’s thoughts, you will feel them. That’s why it is so hard to test psychic ability. It’s not something that you can “grade.”

If you do have feelings, in order to properly share them, you must be able to translate them into words. Some psychics are better at this than others.

First, we need to look at the different types of ways the feelings come to us. Empathy, for instance, is the ability to feel other people’s emotions. Can you test this psychic ability? Not easily. But if you can tune in on what other people are feeling, you probably are empathic.

Telepathy is the ability to read other people’s thoughts. This provides for an easier test of psychic ability. But, again, turning thoughts into words takes psychic skill.

Clairaudience is the ability to hear the thoughts of others, both live people and spirits. Clairvoyance is the ability to see things that aren’t perceptual with the ordinary five senses.

Precognition is the ability to see events in the future. The ability to test this psychic ability only comes with the passage of time.

If you believe you have some level of innate psychic ability, you should practice meditation to develop it. Meditation is a wonderful way to relax. You’ll become less anxious.

While there are many different ways to relax, the most common is to sit still in a quiet setting. Many people prefer to close their eyes when meditating. Quieting your mind for a few minutes every day will allow you to develop your psychic skills.

You will want to focus on your breathing. Whenever your mind begins to wander, bring your thoughts back to your breathing. Try breathing in for four counts, holding your breath for four counts, and breathing out for four counts.

As you practice meditation, you will begin to notice a vibration. This experience is a quickening of your psychic skills.

Many people choose to keep a meditation diary. Writing down your meditative experiences helps you develop your psychic skills.

Another thing to consider is keeping a notebook by your bed and writing down everything you can remember about your dreams as soon as you wake up. This will encourage lucid dreaming which is another avenue into the psychic.

While researchers at universities such as Stanford and Duke have tried for decades to create a test of psychic abilities, they have not been successful. Instead, you must develop the experiences so that you will “feel” yourself psychic.

As I said at the beginning of the article, you don’t know you are psychic, you feel it. That’s why there is no test of psychic abilities.
